Hiroshima has two World Heritage Sites: the traditional Shinto shrine named Itsukushima shrine that looks like floating on the sea, and the Atomic Bomb Dome in Hiroshima downtown because it is the first city in the world where a nuclear bomb was dropped on the people.
In this tour, we learn the ancient history of the small island Miyajima as well as the modern history of the city, how the people in Hiroshima stood up from the ashes of WWⅡ.
*Basic schedule*
We meet up in the morning in Hiroshima station or your hotel lobby around 9:00 am.
Move to Miyajima island by JR and ferry.
Enjoy working on the island, visiting the Itsukushima shrine and some temples.
Deer will welcome you.
After lunch (you enjoy oysters or Okonomiyaki, local pancake) move to Hiroshima downtown by high-speed boat or tram to visit the Atomic bomb dome and Peace Memorial Park and Museum.
I’ll tell you the real story about the people in Hiroshima after the Atomic bomb was dropped.
The destinations will be changed according to the traffic, weather, or tidal conditions on the day and on your request.
