Overview

The tour starts with a coffee (or other beverage of your choice), and I learn about what you would like from our time together. Then I ask you some interesting questions about photography, to get us on the right track for improving our photos.

Next we have a brief discussion about photography and camera settings – especially for night photography tours. I will explain the easiest way to achieve great results!

Now is the time to you can ask any questions you have. Then we will head out to start exploring the city and all of the beautiful locations I have discovered here.

I will share my philosophy on photography as we explore, and give hands-on practical tips to take your photography to the next level. The tour is private, so it will be tailor-made just for you.

From over ten years of experience taking photography tours, I have distilled my thoughts into a process thats easy to follow. It’s designed so that you can be better, once you know how it works.

It’s fun, a little bit challenging, and very rewarding!
Other things to note
The tours are private, so once you book the time is just for you (and your group).

This tour is perfect for every level of photographer – from absolute beginner to advanced amateur. My only goal is to make you better tomorrow than you were yesterday!

Cameras and / or cameraphones are all welcome!

FAQs

Do I need to have experience in photography?

Not at all! I can help you even if you have never picked up a camera before!
Of course, I can also help you if you are an experienced amateur, or somewhere in between...

What about the weather?

Amsterdam can be unpredictable for weather, but a great photographer learns to take beautiful photos no matter what the day is like :)
If it looks a bit damp, bring a raincoat or umbrella.

What if I only have a camera phone?

Perfect! I can help you get the best photos with your phone. You will also learn that a lot of the skills are not about the camera!
