London’s Famous Sites

• Houses of Parliament and Big Ben – this is where the House of Commons and House of Lords sit to decide the laws of this country; many people have walked these hallowed grounds trying to make a change
• Trafalgar Square – the home of protests and festivals that celebrates a famous naval battle
• River Thames – this is the main river that runs through London and is its main artery
• Piccadilly Circus – the convergence of city billboards and nightlife
