The City of London is the oldest part of London, with over 2000 years of History. This tour you will explore how the birth of a small Roman Garrison ended up being the trading capital of the world, sitting at the centre of the worlds trade. What might seem like a financial centre of skyscrapers, let Dani the Guide show you the main sites and what’s hidden underneath.
From London’s only surviving castle The Tower of London to fragments of Roman Wall. Learn how London’s quirky tradition began and still continue to this day like the Knoyll’s Rose Ceremony, where a rose is cut and paid to the Lord Mayor by way of rent for a property. With such an infamous city it also has a notorious reputation for making examples of people who break the law, and then there was the catastrophic Great Fire of London in 1666.
