If you are in Rome and you have one more day free take the chance to visit the Amalfi coast and Pompeiiin one day.
There is the fast train from Rome to Naples ( 1 hour and 10 minutes ride), you can buy the ticket online.
I will wait you at the head of your train with a sign your name.
We will visit the beautiful Amalfi Coast with a visit of Positano, then move to Sorrento and then the visit to Pompeii ruins.

Highlights

The my suggestion is to take the train from Rome around 7:30am and in 1 hour and 10 minutes ( at 8:45) you will be in Naples train station were finally you will see me on the platform with a sign your name.
As soon as we meet , we will decide the final itinerary, we can go first on the Amalfi coast to visit Positano, Sorrento and then move to Pompeii for the visit to the excavations, or choose a different order.
We will be returning to Naples train station around 5:30pm to take the train at 18:00.
