I am a Buenos Aires native who loves interacting with people and sharing my deep knowledge and passion for this city: its history, art, architecture, food, literature, etc.

I am proud to have achieved the Certificate of Excellence on TripAdvisor and to be the winner of the 2020 Travelers’ Choice Awards.
The tours I offer are meant for people who love to explore places off the beaten track, and for those who enjoy discovering hidden gems with a local guide. Also, for visitors looking to get the personal attention that can only be achieved in an intimate small group tour and for those who seek a greater level of immersion, engagement, and interaction with their tour leader or guide.

In my tours, travelers get to see more, hear more, and share the experience with a friendly group of like-minded travelers. The small group size allows good levels of dialogue along the way, so the dynamic is more relaxed and fluid than large group formats. At its best, my walks create an atmosphere of a group of friends exploring a city together. This atmosphere gives the traveler a feeling of authenticity and creates something uniquely memorable that a mainstream, cookie-cutter large group tour can’t replicate.

Each Buenos Aires walking tour is tailored to the travelers’ pace and interests as they get the perspectives, information, and history that are most interesting to them.

My offbeat tours are not done in the traditional big group style. Because we enter several of the buildings that we visit you will receive a truly personal experience of each place that most large walking tours won’t be able to offer.

What does off the beaten track mean? What does traveling off the beaten path really mean? Off-the-beaten-path means looking at completely new places to explore, places with a rich history that showcase the culture of your destination away from the classic tourist hotspot. It also means intimate experiences—standing in line with dozens of other people doesn’t cut it, with 61% of people agreeing that being in places with large crowds is a negative aspect of travel.

The best walking tours in Buenos Aires include history and city landmarks that deviate from your typical must-see tourist stops, so you will have an authentic local experience. On my walking tours, I am pretty sure that you will enjoy discovering unique places that are not on the touristic circuit or included in any guidebook, the places that the locals enjoy every day.

Note: These tours are also suitable for corporate teams.

My Past and Present occupations: I was a bilingual assistant for a medical tourism company, history research assistant, and an adviser to a travel magazine about places and activities in Argentina. I have taken classes in Argentine literature and history, tourism, History of Art, Latin American Art, architecture, and the history of Buenos Aires and its neighborhoods.

I speak fluent English having lived, worked, and studied in the US. for 16 years. My native language is Spanish.

Each of my offbeat tours lasts around 3 hours. We could take longer, as I am flexible to accommodate the needs and questions you might have. And if you want to linger a while, don’t worry — this is your tour and, because I only do tours for small parties, you can linger all you want. This is not your typical “hurry-hurry” tour.

If you seek out Off the Beaten Path locations (things to see and do off the beaten path) instead of the common tourist attractions, love to listen to stories you might otherwise never have the chance to hear and are looking to experience the real Buenos Aires, please contact me.
